GREEN BEANS AND SWEET ONIONS
Green Beans and Sweet Onions
Serves: 10
Total Time: 25 Minutes


INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoon butter, softened
1-1/2 Teaspoons onion powder
1-1/2 Teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
¾ Teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
¼ Teaspoon salt
2 medium sweet onions cut into wedges
1-3/4 pounds green beans, trimmed




DIRECTIONS
1. In a small bowl stir together butter, onion powder, lemon peel, pepper and salt.
2. In a covered 4-quart Dutch oven cook beans in a small amount of boiling
salted water for 4 minutes. Add onions cook until vegetables are crisp-tender;
drain. Add butter mixture; toss gently to coat.
