Keeping your kitchen sanitized is very important. It
doesn't take a genius to figure out why this is
necessary. Remember, this is where you handle,
store and prepare your food. You cannot afford to
make it a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, at
the least. Having them around can put your family
at risk for various gastric problems like food
poisoning or acute gastroenteritis. There are
various kitchen cleaning tips that you can put into
place to maintain a sanitary environment. There are
no special gadgets needed in order to do this
effectively. On top of that, there are practical
solutions to make it easier for your budget.

Tile Cleaning
Cleaning the tiles might vary depending on the
material used. The most important thing that you
need to do is to deodorize and to free them from
bacteria. The use of hydrochloric acid or muriatic
acid is heavily practiced, though not
recommended for our purpose. However, one
kitchen cleaning tip you can count on is the use
of less risky acids like vinegar or lemons. You
can make your own home concoction simply by
using a 1:1 ratio (mixture of acid and water). For
sure, molds and bacteria on these tiles will be
removed easily.

The Kitchen Floor
Just like any house cleaning tips, it is necessary
to sweep the floor. However, your main goal is to
keep your kitchen floor free from being stained
and from being wet. The only secret in effectively
cleaning your floor is doing it by your hand. You
can use mops and rags but nothing beats the
use rags. Scrubbing it may be a good option. Do
this if you have time. You can use a simple
detergent and water mixture to remove stains.
Bleach or chlorine is an option but the smell can
be overbearing. Therefore, stick to what is
pleasant and safe.
Counter tops and Appliances
You can use a baking soda solution to remove
the smell. On the other hand, you can wipe
surface with a soapy solution. Always wipe them
down with plenty of clear water after. You also
have to ensure that it is dry at all times.
Remember anything with moisture becomes the
perfect place for bacteria. Besides, nothing beats
the look of squeaky-clean countertops. There
are no special cleaning tips on how to work with
your appliances. Keep one thing in mind though.
Keep them well preserved so that they will be
equally good as a display. You also have to keep
them dry after washing because dampened
appliances because they are the perfect
breeding ground for molds. Besides, the
dampened smell is not too good at all for the
kitchen. Note: Cleaning appliances should be
done with consideration of the manufacturers
instructions.
These kitchen cleaning tips are easy to follow
and most practical. You also do not have to
spend tremendous amount of money in special
solutions.
